While serving on the Commission on Senior Adults aka
C.O.S.A. in Southfield, Yolanda became acutely aware of
concerns and issues faced by the aging population.
Isolation, Transporation and Food Insecurity were top issueswe uncovered on COSA.
I will take that experience with me to the county and demand Regional Mass Transit to support our seniors.
It is time that we provide activities for our Seniors Sponsored
by the county right here in District 17. The County Parks and Rec
has resources that can be used here in our area.
Let me fight for you at the county level!
Our community sends millions of dollars to the county and it's time we reclaim our tax dollars in a meaningful way. For too long we, here in the south eastern portion of the county, have been forgotten and left behind. It's time we send someone to the county board room who will actually get things done for Southfield, Oak Park, and Lathrup Village.
As a technology-lover it pains Yolanda that our community doesn't have better technology
infrastructure. Some gains have been made but we have a long way to go.
With your support and your vote I will work diligently to ensure our families have access to state-of-the-art tech.
I may be the best candidate but we've got to let everyone know. Donate today, no amount is too small.actblue
